Hello world!

Blogging doesn’t come easily for some of us. Raised to keep all our thoughts to ourselves. Don’t “air the family dirt”. What will people think about you if they know the truth? Well, at this point in my life I really don’t care. I have spent my whole life trying to live up to everyone’s expectations and I lost myself somewhere along the way. Now at 58 I have made a conscious decision to find “me” again. To tell those critical “friends” to take a flying leap will be hard but I definitely think it will be worth it. I wasted too much time trying to be something I’m not. If this blog helps me find out what is really important and what I want to be when I grow up….well….great. If it just allows me to put into words the myriad of thoughts that constantly swim around in my head…WONDERFUL. That will leave room for my dreams (that somehow got lost along the way). Stepping thru life……tiptoe around the bad times and run through the fields of joy! That’s me…..just Steppin’ thru!
